Eco-friendly raw Japanese selvedge denim. The Recycled Selvedge - Stone Blue starts with the left-over denim material from the fabric cutting stage in production, these scraps are typically unused wastage. Instead of being discarded they are, shredded up, combined with undyed cotton, then spun into new yarn. These yarns are then woven together on vintage Japanese shuttle looms into to create the Recycled Selvedge – Stone Blue. The unique blue color is reminiscent of stone-washed jeans but comes from the recycled denim showing its past in the form of subtle variations of blues throughout the fabric. The pink selvedge ID match up against the pastel blue tone of the denim. Maintaining sustainability throughout, the leather patch is made from recycled leather scraps fused together. The denim is a classic-weight 12.5oz ideal for year-round wear.
