The Summer Sky Selvedge recreates that quintessential pale blue denim from the 60s in the form of lightweight, summer-ready raw Japanese selvedge denim. In order to achieve the dark indigo color of most raw denim, the yarns need to be dipped into a dye bath sometimes dozens of times. For this light shade of indigo, the yarns are dipped into the dye only a few times, so these will still fade but in a subtle, low-contrast way. The classic red selvedge ID and English tan leather patch round out the bright vintage vibes. At 10 oz, the fabric is lightweight and best suited for warmer temperatures.
